How to get Linux

To learn, you need a Linux system you are not afraid to break. Your own working machine with Windows or macOS will not do: mistakes in commands have to be safe. You can install Linux yourself in half an hour, and there are three working paths below. Or you can install nothing and work in our sandbox right in the browser - let's start there.
