Linuxlab
About
Hi. I'm Sergei, and I've worked in IT for more than ten years.
Over those years I've worked with a lot of different systems and tools. When I was learning, the thing I needed was hard to find. Just to try Linux, I had to set up a virtual machine, download an image, and configure networking and disks. Only then did I get to the command I came for.
Why this site
It's easier now. The terminal opens right in the browser, and an example runs in one click. No image to build. I put together here what I once missed. You read a chapter, run it, and move on, with no long setup before you start. And I'm sharing it with you.
How the material is written
I write the base myself. The chapters, the lessons, the command walkthroughs, and the small things you usually pick up only by doing. Then I refine the text with modern tools to tighten the wording and clear out mistakes.
Feedback
It matters to me that it works out for you. Over time the books here will change and get better. Your notes on the lesson material are always taken in and heard. Want to say something about a book or a lesson? Write from your account. Spot an error in the text or on the site? Send it from there too. I read every message.
